Ingredients
- 1 large onion, coarsely chopped
- 1 large green papaya, peeled and cubed
- 1 tbsp oil
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp chili powder
- salt to taste
- Heat oil in a saucepan and fry onions until lightly browned.
- Add papaya, turmeric powder, chili powder and salt. Stir well.
- Cook covered on medium heat until papayas are well cooked.
- Remove cover and continue cooking on low heat for about 15 min, or until dry.
