Celery Soup

Ingredients
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 bunch celery, chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 small potatoes, cubed
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1-2 tsp chili powder to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt to taste
  • herbs
Directions
  1. Heat oil and fry onion until translucent.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients except herbs, and cook with 4 cups water until the vegetables are soft.
  3. Cool and then blend well or blend while hot with an immersion blender.
  4. Garnish with herbs.
Serves 4-6
