Ingredients
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 bunch celery, chopped
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 2 small potatoes, cubed
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- 1-2 tsp chili powder to taste
- 1 tbsp oil
- salt to taste
- herbs

- Heat oil and fry onion until translucent.
- Add the rest of the ingredients except herbs, and cook with 4 cups water until the vegetables are soft.
- Cool and then blend well or blend while hot with an immersion blender.
- Garnish with herbs.
